Enzimë që sekretohet nga gjëndrat e zorrës së hollë për të konvertuar laktozën në glukozë dhe galaktozë. Mungesa e kësaj enzime çon në pamundësinë e absorbimit të laktozës që njihet si intolerancë ndaj laktozës.
