Shtatzëni në të cilën qeliza vezë e fertilizuar rrënjoset në indet jashtë mitrës, prej ku fillojnë të zhvillohen placenta dhe fetusi, p.sh. në tubat e Fallopit, në abdomen dhe në pjesën e poshtme të mitrës (në cervix).
